Regarding the implementation of infant vaccinations (1st, 2nd, and 3rd doses), we will also carry out vaccinations in Nagahama City.

Please note that the contents may change depending on the infection status of the new coronavirus infections.

Those who wish to be vaccinated must apply for issuance of a vaccination coupon.

(Vaccination coupons will be sent only to those who request them.)

1. Apply for issuance of vaccination coupon (starting at 9;00 on October 18, 2022)

2. Make a reservation when the vaccination coupon arrives

3. Get vaccinated at the reserved vaccination place

The following people are eligible for the new coronavirus vaccination for infants.

• 6 months to 4 years old

• Persons with parental consent

3 times

As for the 2nd vaccination, interval of three weeks is standard from the 1st vaccination,

The 3rd vaccination should be given at least 8 weeks after the 2nd vaccination.

Vaccines for infants use Pfizer vaccines for infants.

It is a different formulation with different administration and dosage from the vaccines for 5 to 11 years old and 12 years old and over.

• As a general rule, children must be accompanied by a guardian when receiving vaccinations.

• In order to be vaccinated, consent must be signed by a parent or guardian in the vaccination request column of the vaccination form.

• If your child refuses to be vaccinated, the order of vaccination may change, so we ask for your cooperation in ensuring smooth vaccination.

• If you have other vaccinations, please pay attention to the intervals between them.

• If your child turns 5 years old after the 1st dose but before the 2nd and 3rd doses, the 2nd and 3rd doses will be the same Pfizer infant vaccine as the 1st dose. As much as possible, try to complete all three vaccinations before the age of five.

• If your child turns 5 years old before the 1st dose, get the pediatric (ages 5-11) vaccine. (Vaccination coupons can be used as they are.)
