Vehicle fire occurs during non-combustible garbage collection

At around 10;00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, a vehicle fire occurred during non-combustible garbage collection work in Nishiazai-cho, Nagahama City.

As a result of the on-site inspection, garbage that could lead to a fire accident, such as spray cans and lighters, was discovered among the garbage collected.

Fortunately, the collectors were not injured in this accident, and there was no damage to the area where it occurred, however, accidents like this have the potential to become serious accidents that could threaten human life.

Once again, please check the garbage separation rules when disposing of garbage.

You can check the garbage separation rules here (opens in a new window (Japanese)).
