An explosion occurred inside a crusher at a non-combustible waste/bulky waste processing facility. 不燃ごみ・粗大ごみ処理施設破砕機内部で爆発事故が発生

At around 1;50 pm on Friday, December 8, 2023, an explosion occurred inside a crusher at a non-combustible waste/bulky waste processing facility (Clean plant).

Although the cause has not been determined, the explosion may have been caused by a ruptured cassette cylinder, spray can, etc.

Fortunately, no one was injured and there was no equipment failure, so we were able to resume operations. However, in some cases, a fire or injuries could occur, and it would take a lot of time and money to restore the equipment.

In order to prevent such accidents, please check the table below and the "Kohoku Rules" once again regarding how to dispose of garbage.
