Seasonal Influenza Alert issued　/　季節性インフルエンザの警報が発令されました

A seasonal influenza alert was issued for Shiga Prefecture on February 12, 2026.

Please take basic infection control measures such as washing our hands and ventilating the room to help prevent the spread of infection.

1. Wear a mask when visiting a medical institution or elderly care facility, etc., and observe cough etiquette when appropriate.

2. Wash your hands when you return home and after touching shared surfaces.

3. Ventilate the room regularly. In particular, in elderly care facilities or facilities for people with disabilities, when multiple people are staying in the same room, take measures to prevent air from stagnating by ventilating the room.

4. Get plenty of nutrition and rest.

5.  Please cooperate with medical institutions based on your symptoms and risk of aggravation. Also, when visiting a medical institution, please call in advance to confirm the procedure for visiting.
