Notice from Nagahama City Social Welfare Council 長浜市社会福祉協議会からのお知らせ

We will be holding the FY 2025 initial training course for foreign care workers.

Participants will be able to acquire the basic knowledge and skills necessary for caring for the elderly and disabled, and obtain the introductory qualifications necessary for working in care.

23 days (Saturday or Sunday) from Saturday, September 13, 2025 to Saturday, February 21, 2026

Attendance is required on all scheduled days.

Foreign nationals living in Shiga Prefecture who wish to work in the nursing care field

Ability to understand, read, and write basic Japanese

Able to complete the entire training course

If there are a large number of applications, the program will close on the day the capacity is reached and participants will be selected by lottery.

Free (Textbook fee of approximately ¥10,230 is at your own expense)

※Missing a lecture will incur a make-up fee.

August 1st (Friday) to August 25th (Monday), 2025

Saturday, August 30th (Back-up Date: Sunday, August 31st)

※The interview will involve a basic assessment of your Japanese language proficiency. After the interview, we will determine whether or not you will be accepted.
