Marriage registration for foreign nationals 外国籍の方の婚姻届

When foreign nationals apply for a marriage notification at a Japanese city hall, a "Certificate of Legal Capacity to Marry" or "Certificate of Nationality (or valid passport)" issued by their home country is required. If the home country certificate is written in a language other than Japanese, a Japanese translation with the name of the translator is also required.
