To reduce carbon dioxide emissions and combat global warming by eliminating the need for redelivery of packages, subsidies will be provided for the purchase of delivery boxes.

April 1, 2026 (Wednesday) - March 31, 2027 (Wednesday)

※Applications will close once the budget limit is reached. (First-come, first-served basis)

※Please note that costs of materials required for fixing and locking are not eligible for the subsidy.

※Please note that businesses are not eligible.

※Only items sold as "delivery boxes" are eligible.

※I t can be used in conjunction with the Children's Eco-Housing Support Program (national subsidy).

※For purchases made through mail order (EC sites, online shopping, etc.), only cash payments such as bank transfers or convenience store payments, or credit card payments are eligible.

※If you use coupons or points when purchasing through mail order (EC sites, online shopping, etc.), the amount after the discount from coupons/points will be the eligible amount for the subsidy. (Please note that if you purchase entirely with points, etc., it will not be eligible.)

Half of the eligible expenses (maximum 5,000 yen *amounts less than 1,000 yen are rounded down)

※Eligible expenses are the purchase price (including tax) rounded down to the nearest 1,000 yen.

[Example 1] 4,200 yen (purchase price) → 4,000 yen (eligible expenses) ÷ 2 = 2,000 yen 

→ 2,000 yen (subsidy amount)

[Example 2] 5,300 yen (purchase price) → 5,000 yen (eligible expenses) ÷ 2 = 2,500 yen 

→ 2,000 yen (subsidy amount) *Rounded down to the nearest 1,000 yen 

[Example 3] 13,300 yen (purchase price) → 13,000 yen (eligible expenses) ÷ 2 = 6,500 yen

→ 5,000 yen (subsidy amount) *Maximum subsidy of 5,000 yen

• It must be capable of securely storing delivered packages.

• Measures must be taken to prevent theft, making it difficult to move.

• The delivery box must be installed on the same premises or in the same building as the address of the person applying for the subsidy.

• It must be brand new.

• If the premises or building on which the delivery box is to be installed are not owned by the applicant, consent for installation must be obtained from the owner.

• Delivery boxes purchased and installed on or after April 1, 2026

• Only items sold as "delivery boxes." Homemade or modified containers are not eligible.

2. Copy of receipt (must include applicant's name, product name (model), retailer, and purchase date)

3. Catalog or instruction manual listing the purchased delivery box (copy acceptable)

4. Photograph showing the installation situation

5. Copy of applicant's bank passbook, etc.

6. Copy of identification document (My Number Card, driver's license, health insurance card, etc.)
